OLD-STYLE JAZZ

I like to imagine what it might look and sound like if a solo guitar-player/singer from the 1930's were to suddenly jump forward in time to the 21st century. The style is pervasively under the influence of Billie Holiday, Fats Waller, Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong - but the repertoire spans 100 years of American popular music to include songs from  Tin Pan Alley (Gershwin, Berlin, Arlen, Carmichael,  et al) as well as Elton, the Eagles, Clapton, Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5, and more. Click a video below to see and hear the outcome!
